Circles of Care is a 3 year planning grant, that ended September 30, 2011 from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). It is youth guided and family driven, and it asks the community to help in designing a "Systems of Care" for children and adolescents who suffer from spiritual unrest. Gda' shkitoomi is the name this community picked for this project.
This planning grant was instrumental in AIHFS being awarded the Garrett Lee Smith suicide prevention grant and a Systems of Care grant. The press releases for these announcements can be found at our news and events page. Click on the news and events tab above to go there.
